Second Day of Orientation

Hey peoples.Second was more fun but more tiring as wel. Cause we went Sentosa :) Not really that nice, not too bad. hahaah. Took the bus there. Kasidet was inside the same bus but he didnt see me. So sad. :'( Oh, sat beside Michael to Sentosa.
Ended up at Siloso beach there. It was freaking hot. No sunburn luckily. Anyway, is it true that tanned people dont get sunburned easily. I'm naturally tanned. hahaha.
First stop was Blow Wind Blow at some pavilion. Was super short lah. Then lunch. Canadian pizza 2 for 1. Actually pizza hut got the same offer and it is much nicer. Oh, we lucned at the generator thingy. the tiny building with the door that says "high voltage". Then, slacked on some staircase while taking photos, doing cheers.
Oh, we greeted every tram that passed by us. Boon Keat was damn funny. "Hi, we're are the new landmark" The tourist then started to wave to us. Oh, CNNY filmed our cheer. Wa haha.
The first game was blanket volley ball. Hahah. Our poncho had a huge hole. So, no choice ah. Fold in half. And we were against yancee 3. We won. Lols. Some people bought drink and tey say 1.5L of mineral water cost 6 bucks. Pure madness.
Gathered somewhere near the monorail station and sang the college's song. Oh, they were looking for the shortest girl and tallest guy. Poor Hui Wen.
Then we moved to the sandcastle place. I swear that they were nothing in the sand although the Game Master claimed there were.
Managed to built one which looked like a grave using a few items like cups. We won the most caring sandcatle award. I dunno why. And the GM kept on spamming points to everyone.
Next stop was dog and bone. It rained before we started the game. There was a small shop, so everyone ran into the shop. haha. some people bought drinks there. So good, we brought in profit into the place.
Waa, last station was the one where two people carry one cup using strings. And have to scoop the water. The GM was kinda gay. Lols. Paired with Taylor I think. The time is up before we can scoop it. Then, dismissal time. best part of the day. Was going to faint.
And took the bus back to Habourfront with Annie and Sharifah. Met Annie's friend and her friend's friend. Wip and Pui An(sp?). The queue was long but we got a seat at the back,
Oh, at Habourfront MRT, saw kenneth! :) He looked stunned. I wonder why. MRT-ed back home then. Changed to the East West Line at Outram Park, then stoned all the way to tampines. I just remembered Adrian didnt come today.

I love NY. No, not New York, Nanyang. :p. I've been posted to Nanyang guys. How cool is that? Ok, not really but I really likes Nanyang since erm, last year. Probably after hearing much from Ban Liang and researching.First day.
Dad sent me all the way to Bartley MRT station. Ben Tham's dad taught him of a route that leads us from Bedok Reservoir to Bartley. :)I arrived at Bartley MRT in 15 mins. How cool is that. And large part of the route is viaduct. Mainly at Kaki Bukit and Bartley. Mrt-ed to Lorong Chuan. th circle line gives me the creeps sometimes, but Im starting to enjoy the two station ride. Walked into NYJC then. I actually followed the crowd. haha. instead of really knowing the direction. Oh, then looked for the canteen and waited outside for those sgclub people.
Jia Ling came then, with Eugene and Jia Hui. Argh. Hui Hui came then. Sharifah went up to the hall ready. And she's in my OG! So cool.
Everyone quiet, so shy. Then the two irritating emcees came. Ok lah, not irritating, just enthu? ah, then assembly. The subject combi talk was super duper boring. "history is for everyone". Like duh! then briefing for CL was in Mandarin. Just when I finally eradicate the thought that NY was a cheena school. That didnt dampen my spirit though. Oh, I will be taking PCME. Ice-breaker games. Double whacko and some others. tree and squirrel.
Oh, the orientation package looks cool i think. Argh! School tour was pretty blah. Just walk and walk. Lunch break. Ate fried rice. Nabil was complaining. "there's only 2 muslim stall here" like how many does he need. Jk only lah. It was the same in VS i guess. Met Jia Ling like for a while, then went back to the hall.
Oh, lame games then. I dunno what lah, but I just randomly played. It was kinda stupid. Oh, I forgot to mention. saw Kenneth and Jeanette but both tao-ed me. Annoying people.:p
Mass dance was nice. Dancing randomly like some mad people. hahaha.hall full of mad people. I was so freaking tired that I didnt bother much about anything. Dismissal was something nice tough.
To Advo. Somehow, we planned to meet at AdvoExcellenceClub for some sharing session. Oh, some politic talks halfway. And AdvoHam(ster) is cute :p Anisha hated it. Dinner at Long John's Silver! Hahah, went back again and talked crapped. As we were leaving, I realised my Orientation package was still at Advo. Rushed all the way back and grabbed it. It almost killed me.
Train-ed home as per usual and gossiped about cardigan. hahah. inside joke.
Second day later can? promise :) I wanna sleep now :'(
6.7 outing

Hello. The 6.7 outing was fun!Met Samuel around 12 to have lunch at BBQ chicken. Damn it, I regret going that place. The service is freaking bad and the staff uniforms are killing my eyes. Oh, we met Cornelius there, having lunch too. Then, we 69-ed to Safra. The Mind's Cafe to be specific. Most were there. Eugene, Suraj, Darren and some others.Everyone looked different. Miss those times before PSLE. I heard from Suraj that I fell one day and everyone laughed. I just cant remember anything at all. Played some random games including I'm The Boss.The Truth or Dare game was fun though. Some stories were being shared during the game. Kenneth and Zaki came shortly after.
Then guess who I saw outside the Cafe. Yu Tian. Apparently, I was supposed to go for the 4F outing. But I decided to go to the 6.7 one. Taboo and others were failure games. We couldn't play it with like 9 people. Ahh.. Pool time. Slacked around and talked to Richard. Cornelius came finally. Then, someone booked a table for the noobs aka me, Samuel and Zi Yuan. Pool was disastrous for me, at least. Sam seemed to enjoyed it. Oh, no one bought my CNY goodies. Maybe I didn't promote it well. Have to do it tmr and during the second outing.
Went to EastPoint for dinner at Eighteen Chefs. The food wasn't that nice though. The pools noobs are again sticking closely with each other. Decided to watch Legion then at TM. Train-ed to TM and went to check the timing at GV and then, Shaw. Settled on watching at GV. Caught the 9.05pm one. Legion was very very boring. Or, in Newspeak, double plus boring. The story-line was utter rubbish. Zi Yuan said that half of his brain cells died after watching the movie. The angels looked cool to me. :)
Took the bus home. We saw Eusebio at the interchange. He just came back from church, so he looked really tired. We actually discourage him from watching Legion. Ahh, he should be coming for the next outing.
That's all and I'm reading Nineteen Eighty Four by George Orwell. The book's nice I think. Animal Farm next!

Hello everyone.Today was freaking awesome even though I didn't sleep last night. Wen to TM at 10.45 and all the shops that I wanted to go was closed!!! Popular and the wallet shop opened at 11am. And I need to me those people at 11. So train-ed to Eunos and found out I was there first. Stoned a bit and stoned more. Went to 7-11 to get coke for Farah. No idea why but I got one for her. Then Anisha came and then, darrell. Sandra couldn't make it cause she was working and Rupini had some problems. I still owe her a birthday present. So sorry.
Walked towards the bus stop and guess what. We stopped at an aquarium. I felt like deja vu when I stepped into the shop. Realised that there is where my grandma used to go to buy fish food when she was still alive. I missed her so badly. :( If she was still around, I swear I'm gonna visit her like every weekend. Ahh.. forget it. Life must go on.
15-ed to Katong Convent and strut down the long pathway to east way. Took the underpass and ended up somewhere near Macs. Had lunch! Double cheeseburger. Man, I'm getting bored of that thingy. Oh, some funny things happened during lunch. Eh, farah was blushing all the way cause we said something.
Sandcastle time! It was not really a castle but it is a huge volcano surrounded by moat. I have no idea what to call that. We thought of Mount Advo? Camwhored a bit I guess before deciding to cycle. We rent 3 bikes, one which is double-seate Imagine r.Dont ever rent the bike with two seats. Almost died while cycling it. Farah and Anisha cant stop screaming whenever they're behind Darrell and I. Oh, the ride back to the shop was smooth cause I trusted Darrell. But it wa so weird. two guys riding on a bike. Very erm...nevermind.
Oh, exchanged that bike for two more bikes. Stoped by seven eleven to get 1 thingy 00 plus. The cashier(it is a he( smiled at me twice.I felt so weird. Thanks god Anisha came.We cycled all the way to the lighthouse and decided to play by the sea. Yeah, it rocks although a few bruises here and there. Camwhore some more then cycled a bit more. Oh, we returned our bikes and cabbed to Eunos MRT. Anisha took the bus home while the rest MRT-ed. Darrell stopped at Kallang cause he needed to go to his workplace.
Trained all the way to Novena while Farah stopped at Newton. I cant believe I'm going for Pey's Chem class. So nerdy. Before that, I walked aimlessly around Velocity and United Square.
Oh, went to Advo and talked a bit of crap to the coaches. hahah. Started a bit of lesson while waiting for Dawn. I'm so weird, according to dawn. School haven't started and I'm studying. How nerdy can I be? Class was freaking interesting although I got A-levels phobia. But the Atomic Structure chapter was damn interesting. I love Chem now :).
Oh, I was kinda tired so my attention isn't 100%. Copied some map, then go home. Oh, I dont feel like coming back for AdvoWelcome back party. Kinda weird with all the parents.

Hi readers... I got a feeling that I'm talking to myself only. because no one tags. So I assume I'm the only reader. Sad :(Oh, Sunday had facial in the morning. I was so freaking tired that I was totally unconscious throughout the facial. The aircon was so cold, I felt like I'm in a fridge. I woke up like 2 hours later and was still half asleep. I'm like "done ready?"
Train-ed to Bedok to meet Kelvin. I had been a year since I met him. So long mann. Wanted to go to Macs but ended up at coffee shop. And all the talking blah blah blah. I found out he used to be a miao miao (cat) high student! That was so funny. Then he went AJC and all that.
I'm selling CNY goodies people! Anyone interested to buying? We got more items than last year and the price had gone up by 20 cents. I can give discount though. Plus the plastic bag is very cute.
Waa. Speak of he devil. He just sent me a softcopy of the pamplet. Gonna upload it so soon. yeah!
Today was just plain boring because I did rebonding. And Michelle cut my hair too short. I feel like killing her now. I spent like 4hours in the saloon and almost died. I think enough of me ranting. Hey, but my hairs looks better now. The Burger King Cheesy Bacon Burger thingy was awesome! It's like all my favourite things put into one burger. Bacon, cheese, chicken patty. YUM!

Wake Up Call

I am sad to say that I'm finally in my new phase in life and it started off badly. The release of the school results. Guys, I have to admit that I disappointed a lot of people, particularly the AdvoCoaches. I think they're very nice to console me after the results. This is a wake up call for me and my family. I cant believe that I almost screamed at my mum to tell her to wake up. Indeed, at that moment, she was still in her own worldThe results were released and I almost cried. Probably I aim-ed too high, beyond my limit. Considering the fact also that I studied last minute, I think I deserved the results. Ok, looking forward to going a neighbourhood JC and top the school. I so gonna kill all those 6 pointers in A-level. Not because I can but because I WANT TO! What never killed me made me stronger. I will do my very best to achieve well. This isn't just another cliche. It's my resolution for year 2010 and 2011.
For those that did well, congratulations! For those that didnt do well, don't give up. This isn't the end, this is just the beginning. Not another cliche too. It is true. Guys, school hasn't started yet. It is not like tmr's the A-level. There's a whole new world and adventure waiting for you. Good friends and teachers await.
I wish those people that I know all the best and most importantly, spirits must be high!
As for now, I shall just isolate myself and make new friends... Those Advoteens are some of them.

Hey.....Advochalet was super fun! Though some of the sucky things happen. Like in the morning. Was supposed to meet Anisha at 11.30 to get the BBQ food. Arrived at 12. Found out that she was at her parent's clinic, printing some form. Why the hell can she just email me and I'll print it out. Ended up waited for her for 1 hour. She arrived and we cabbed to some unknown area in the middle of an INDUSTRIAL AREA! It's at Ubi Ave 2.
Went to the wrong block. Was supposed to be at 3020 but we went to 3026. Sad, we got lost and asked around till we found the place. The cargo lift was really scary and slow. Anisha cursed it and it beeped.Lol. She apologised to it. It kept quiet suddenly!"Sorry. I love you". That was really epic How weird.
The place was super smelly and dirty. We went to the office and scribbled on the order form.Rushed to the area where they prepare the food. Uber disgusting! Pieces of meat were lying on the floor. We have to wit for like 15 minutes while talking crap. We got the stuff and cabbed to Bedok MRT. Anisha wanted to stop at Eunos but then Bedok's better. The plastic bag was freaking heavy. I dragged to all the way into the MRT and people were staring at us. Train-ed to Pasir Ris. Farah, Sandra and Darrell were already there. Then Yong Jie came.
While waiting for Lynn, we talked about the O-levels results! Farah did better than me in prelims. :) Not fair! I'm starting to get nervous about tmr. Then Lynn came and we cabbed to Downtown east in 2 taxis. The girls left first and we took the taxi behind.
Darrell was like "follow that yellow taxi!" like in spy movies. The taxi in front of us went tot he wrong place and all of us ended up walking all the way to Costa sands resort. Check-ed in and looked for the chalet room. Found it at last and went to eat instant noodles.
We started talking about politics(how random) and Big Brother. :) Ben Tham came shortly after!! Played murderer. And we found out Sandra's the worst detective ever! It was so obvious but no... she identify the wrong person.
Around 3pm, we went cheers to get some things to start the fire. Lighter, fire starter... All those rubbish. Went to play frisbee. It was damn fun. Thanks to President Anisha, we started walking around in circles to find a spot to play it. Oh, more people came. Ken arrived and refused to bbq anything.Rupini came finally
Around 5, we started the fire. Shaun, Isabel, Noel came a while later. Oh yeah, Noel brought his gf. Oh, more started to come. Syafiq, Say Keong, Lynette, Merl and Marcus. Then while bbq-ing some stuff, it rained and we rushed into the shelter while some brave heroes did their best to save the fire.
It stopped miraculously and we continued bbq-ing. Other advocoaches came then.Pey and Seik Yee. Farah, Sandra and Yong Jie went home while it rained.
Marcus and some other decided to continue bbq-ing. He complained that food was lacking.So Darrell, Rupini and I went to NTUC. Sucks that we didnt finish some food then. We got some non-meat food for Pey.
Oh, went Macs to surf the net cause connection in the chalet's horrible. Lynnette was there also with her "who". Wai Sun arrived and saw me at Macs., then got called back by President cause we're cutting the chalet to celebrate the birth of AdvoClub. Yew Kiin and Dawn were there. Han Quan!! The champagne popping was disastrous.
When Yew Kiin annouced that we'll have our first elected president, Anisha suddenly raised her hand. That was really funny. Yes she did elect herself as President of the Advoteen Committee. Pey wanted me to run against her. haha. It might spoil our relationship as friends. "I wanna be president. Don't run" She became all emotional again. President and Rupini left so early and Pey commented "President cannot leave". She ignored it and left
Merl wanted to get drunk. Wanted too but didnt in the end. Hate the sober feelings sometime. But then, I'll have a hangover the next morning. Remember the last time some of us got high. Rupini got super high and started singing Barney songs. Decided to stay over. Everyone went bowling except darrell and I. Ben Tham had to leave, so we didnt go to the Red House. Shirin couldnt make it.
They only came back around 1am. Darrell and I were gossiping about someone. Hahaha. We had nothing to do. We discussed some things before he went to sleep. Say Keong cam back first. Followed by Fiona, Jefferson, Zhe Yue and some others, The coaches cam back last. I had to sleep on the floor and my back hurts now.
Oh, woke up around 6am. Most of them were playing cards and didnt sleep. So when we woke up.(those that really slept. Pey, Darrell, me) They went to sleep. hhaha. especially Fiona, jefferson and Sam. Had MacBreakfast. Fillet-O-Fish ttm.
Oh, we checked out and I decided to walk home. The coaches took a taxi to AdvoWorld.Fiona followed them I think. Darrell took the bus then.
Was super tired and slept immediately when I reached home. Woke up in an unknown time. All I know is that my mum left home and my dad told me to eat something.

Ok, tmr's the chalet. And I'm staying over. Hahah. Went to AdvoWorld again around 1. :) Anisha was there and we went to call some people. Hahah. More people is coming but then, someone's not likely to come. Sandra and Darrel came a while later. Advo was very empty albeit school has reopened. I missed those pre-Olevel times where Advo was packed. Esp the old AdvoExcellence Club. Those people that we haven't seen for a long time. Debby, Shradda. :'(Saw Yew Kiin and his pink shirt :). Hahaha.
Around 2, we went to buy something from Mac and Subway. Haaha. prosperity burger was nice. :) Then continued to discuss about the games and activities. I cant wait for Darrell's stand up comedy. I tell you that it's gonna be good. Ok, nightwalk to the Redhouse tmr :). Erm, hope that more people can stay over I wonder how we gonna get to the red house.
And guess what? We were forced to buy the Advoteens Shirt. Hahaha. It's kinda ugly. $18 somemore. WTH. But we have $200 for budget and have to repay them. So, tmr everyone have to pay $5. Sad case. Omg, forgot to prepare the guest's list.
Ok, then decided to go buy the bbq food but got lost in the end. Sandra didn't follow us because she had to take the circle line, so a bit inconvenient for her. Train-ed and we stopped at Paya Lebar Mrt and supposed to go Ubi. We ended up walking to Eunos Interchange. Waited for 63 and there wasn't a sign of it. Decided to abandon everything and go tmr. Hahah. Somehow, I'm half excited, half dreaded. Oh, just found out we might need to meet Audrey before we can check in.
Bought 200 euro on the way back cause it's value against SGD fell drastically. Not gonna earn much though. Like $10. Hopefully. :)

Went out today with great people. Anisha, Rupini, Farah, Merl and Farah's friend, Sheryl (sp?) watched avatar in 3D..finally.. woots! Met them at 2 outside the cinema.. Bought popcorn and coke. hahaha... took some photos.. will upload them later. Merl was late but we waited patiently. The movie was awesome but Merl left before it ended to meet Marcus.Hahah.. sad thing she didn't catch the ending. Don't worry Merl, we'll tell you the ending. Or there's wikipedia?Yeah, Avatar is James Cameron's film and it's freaking cool. I love all the graphics. The action was a bit drama though but still love it. The na'vis look super cool.I want one of those Toruk though. Can ride throught the wind in style.I wish Pandora was a real place. :P
I wonder where James Cameron got all the ideas from.Anyone who hasn't watch must watch it asap.I love Avatar now. Can't wait for the sequel. I heard there's one.
Outings with those people were always AWESOME! sadly Darrell and Sandra couldn't make it. It will be better with them and maybe some others.Darrell was working and sandra's at the airport to look for ang moh guys. Cant wait for this wednesday. Going to the beach with them and more photos and fun.

ok, archery today was still bad. Considering the fact that we have to shoot further and my sight(those thingy you use to aim) screwed up. And epic went to the wrong target face. Nobody saw that. And I discovered a new invention. It is called the puller. hahaha. easier to pull the arrows now. Then got the arm guard from Uncle Pat. Carol bow inverted suddenly. almost spoiled the bow but Pat managed to fix it. Spend most time shooting endlessly. Then leave at about 12 to go Advo to discuss the chlaet. Train-ed to novena and reached at 1.Reached Advo and Anisha and her sister Amelia was there. Amelia had to take some evaluation thingy which I skipped when I joined Advo. Darrell and Sandra came a bit later. Havent been to AdvoWorld since we painted the walls in November. Missed Advo Excellence Club. There is where I met someone special and the Advoteens. We got the numbers of all the students and went for lunch. After lunch, we went to call them one by one. We called those that were in our class. Funny things started to happen. "Hello, this is Advo," Anisha's favourite phrase. "Hi, pearl!Can you come for the chalet..... Have fun during your trip," by Sandra. Totally random. Not to mention some rude remarks that those students make. "Hi, what you want huh?"
Then Audrey went to book the chalet and it is confirmed. Woo hoo! Lynn was unhappy with the picture of her on the wall because her left eye was painted black. Ok, Roshini, Rupini's sister came a while later and they looked really alike, unlike Anisha and Amelia. We soon called like most of the people and then, trained to Kallang to meet parents. Meh, boring life eh?
I went Borders today and bought some random book. One was about Zhao Zi Yang and the other one was titled "Encounters that changed the world" Borders sucks actually. They staff simply do not care about the condition of the books unlike Kinokuniya. I wont shop for books there next time.
Anyway, results are out next week I guess. Hahaha kinda nervous.

Happy New Year people. I think i'll do it my way. Happy new decade. Its 2010 people, get that right. Isn't it like yesterday when we celebrate the new millennium? 10 years passed so quickly and before we know it, it's 2020. Ok, 2000-2010 wasn't a good decade for me. Especially 2008-2009. Those shit that happened to me. I will never forget those. Towards the end of 2009 was particularly great. Those Advoteens cheered me up a bit.Ok, let's see some shit/events that happen in 2009.
Ok, first. Back to school after being absent for 4 months. IT WAS HELL BEING BACK TO SCHOOL. NOT TO MENTION ALL THE RUBBISH THAT HAPPEN IN SCHOOL. Then came prelim 1. Horrible grades. I failed a few subjects. Thanks to that, I'm in Advo. Prelim 2 was so much better thanks to the AdvoCoaches. Jumped at least 5 grades for a few subjects. Was quite happy. Meet awesome people! To list a few: Anisha, Farah, Rupini, Darrell, Sandra, Sharlynn, Shi Yan, Yong Jie. The Coaches are the best in the world! Maths Yew Kiin, Chem Pey, Physics Ken.
Let's see. O-levels then. Chicken-pox during the o-level period was fun actually. Took the exams in the centre at Pandan near Jurong. Well, it's a container with a few chairs and the invigilators are like retired teachers and super lenient. Can slack in our car till like 5 mins before the exam start and then go inside the container. Then can do the exams without feeling the stress of being in a hall full of people. And the air-con isn't that cold.

Ok, now for 2010. It is time that I must revolutionise myself. All that bad habits must be eradicated through reforms. Haha, need to study harder for my A-levels now. No more slacking. And yeah, cool, new name, new image, new character. No more emo! A revolution can only be a sucess when everyone is willing to accept changes or there is a need for change.
